Funthyme, Spitalfields City Farm

Experts of the idyllic summer evening, Funthyme, are back for their fourth season of supperclubs, Funthyme at City Farm, for three consecutive dates in May, June, July and August.  Located at their very own little urban oasis, Spitalfields City Farm, this charming event brings a little slice of rural bliss to London.

Guests can drool over a three-course meal lovingly prepared with freshly foraged, seasonal produce that has locally sourced from the urban farm.  Expect canapés of edible flower on rye wafer with farm herb cheese, and a meat or fish main cooked to perfection on the BBQ. In keeping with the seasonal focus, the menu will change each month to showcase the freshest produce.

If you're lucky enough to come on a balmy summer evening, you can enjoy your meal amongst the fauna and flora of the farm. But, don't fear the rain: if the weather turns sour there's a newly built yurt providing the cosiest and coolest of shelters. It's almost enough to make you want rain...

With the bring your own booze policy we expect a relaxed and jovial atmosphere and delectable food, whether you're soaking up the little slice of country life or chilling out in a yurt. Just remember to bring a bottle and wrap up warm.
