Casa Sabor Salvador de Bahia

For three days only Latin American food connoisseurs, Casa Sabor, will be celebrating the culinary delights of Brazil and its regional capital, Salvador Da Bahia, in a brand new pop-up venue, appropriately located at the extraordinary Ozone Coffee Roasters building in Leonard Street.

The carefully constructed five-course menu will pay homage to Brazilian cuisine with a mixture of traditional masterpieces and modern Brazilian dishes inspired by the global godfather of Brazilian food – Chef Alex Atala

Make sure you try the the acareje – these are extremely delicious crunchy fritters of black eyed peas, stuffed with a spicy mix of dried shrimp and coconut, and served with a puree of okra, cashew nuts and garlic and okra paper. With each course as exquisite as the last (and washed down with many Lime Caiprihnas of course) you will experience a truly delicious insight into Brazilian culture.

But, be prepared to stay late! The live music in the evening will pay tribute to the many giants of the Brazilian music scene from João Gilberto, founder of bossa nova, to Olodum, the Afro-Brazilian group featured on Paul Simon’s Rhythm of the Saints. This is a blink and you'll miss out event, but there are still some tickets left  –  so book quickly.
