The Distillery tour and tasting for members
Join Culture Whisper members for an exclusive peek into the distillation rooms of Portobello Road Gin. The distillery is housed in a 19th Century townhouse on Portobello Road.
After a tour around the distillery, visitors will learn about the 10 key ingredients included in Portobello Road Gin, and the 9 month tasting and perfecting process used to prepare the gin for the shelves. After a lesson in gin production from the master distiller, members will be invited to try three of the gins made onsite: King Theodore, Butter Gin and Portobello's new Old Tom gin, which is the distillery's representation of how gin would have tasted in the 18th Century.
Finally, members are encouraged to get behind the bar to make their own classic John Collins cocktail, made from the Old Tom gin.
