Our ultimate guide to London Wine Week
Savour the best for less as many of the finest wines available in London go on sale at reduced prices for London Wine Week, this 5-11 June
Hundreds of London's best bars and restaurants will be focusing their attention on London Wine Week this June, and offering some of their finest wines for just £5 for a flight of three glasses to festival pass holders.
From the award-winning team also behind London Cocktail Week and London Beer Week, London Wine Week invites guests to follow specially curated tours around the capital to sample a dynamic, delicious selection of wine. A £10 festival pass is all that wine aficionados will need.
Among the prestigious bars taking part are 8 Hoxton Square, Bedales of Borough, Bronte, Hawksmoor, Humble Grape, Ibérica and Le Pont de la Tour. For a full list of participating bars click here.
The idea is that Londoners choose a self-guided wine tour, then discover all the bars in one particular region of London. Perhaps Shoreditch, Borough Market or Marylebone. This year's wine tour locations are yet to be announced, but when they are, we'll update you.
London Wine Week will again host the Devonshire Square pop-up, where festival-goers can collect passes and visit key attractions, including Freixenet's vintage wine van, to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine.
The seven-day event will culminate in an event called DrinkUp: The Wine Edit (8-10 June). DrinkUp:The Wine Edit will re-imagine Oval Space in Bethnal Green as a Mediterranean vineyard, and guests will be encouraged to wander through and experience the wines, as if from their own geographic regions.
A series of dinners and supper clubs will run at participating venues. For more information on those, click here.
Opening date: 5 June
