The high-concept restaurant takes tapas to Mumbai – and it’s a match made in heaven. They serve rich curries, vegetables native to the Lokhandwala region, and spicy lentils – all in bite-sized morsels to share (if you can bring yourself to). Look out for house-made coriander aioli, grilled brie with cardamom, and an intriguing ‘kheer brulée’, which bring together Continental and Indian flavours in mouth-watering fashion.

Lokhandwala’s interior is as much of a treat as its tasty canapés. Enjoy a meal in style in the dining room, luxuriously outfitted with nineteenth-century-style friezes and chandeliers, or have an aperitif at the bar, decorated with flowering vines. Or combine the two – members are eligible for an evening of food and cocktail pairings selected by restaurateurs.
