Island Poké, Soho
Fresh, healthy, and about to take London by storm: get ready for poké.
A Japanese-influenced Hawaiian staple, poké is the younger, messier cousin of sashimi. At Island Poké, you BYOB (build your own bowl, obviously): brown rice or white? Spicy tuna? Citrus marinated salmon? Seaweed, chillies, pineapple salsa, coconut cream – you choose.
When it comes to Hawaiian poké, London will soon be spoiled for choice. As well as Island Poké on Kingly Street, there is the newly arrived Ahi Poké in Fitzrovia and Eat Poké, who serve up bowls at various locations with KERB markets.
