Flat Iron Square food hub, Bankside
A new London hub for food, drink and music...
Bankside sees the launch of a new cultural quarter this October. The work of dedicated food fanatics, big hitters behind the launch include Gill Meller of River Cottage Kitchen, and musical country bumpkin Marcus Mumford, whose surname you'll recognise from his other project, folk outfit Mumford & Sons.
A range of multi disciplinary arts will be scheduled weekly, ranging from live music and comedy, to talks and debates. Food names confirmed include pizza chefs Baz & Fred, Southeast Asian food from Ekachai and savoury and scrumptiously sweet deep pan pancakes, courtesy of Where The Pancakes Are.
