New opening: Double Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi is to open a formal dining room and seafood restaurant in South Kensington

Claude Bosi at Bibendum
Having earned 2 Michelin Stars at the recently closed Hibiscus, celebrated French Chef Claude Bosi has a lot to live up to as he opens a new restaurant at Bibendum in South Kensington.

Claude Bosi at Bibendum will open at Michelin House, the headquarters of the famed tyre company, commissioned in 1909. Bought by legendary restaurateur and business impresario Sir Terence Conran alongside Lord Hamlyn in the 1980s, the property is now divided between Bosi, Conran and Hamlyn's filmmaker and theatre producer son, Michael.

The ground floor will host a swanky cocktail bar and a casual seafood restaurant whilst the first floor will be the home of a grand dining room, open from Wednesday to Sunday only. With Bosi undoubtedly eyeing up more Michelin stars at the historic home of the company, we can only expect a tantalising French menu from the chef and an innovative interior from his design partner, Conran.

Early dishes in the dining room will emulate the sophisticated flair of Hibiscus, and include a Dover sole for two, Galician beef fillet and an oyster omelette.

Will Bosi achieve a lucrative 3 Michelin Stars at his new establishment? Only time will tell.
