London Film Festival Release: Carol
Todd Haynes new film Carol comes to the BFI London Film Festival.
Cate Blanchett stars in Todd Haynes' latest film as Carol, a married woman who falls for a young department-store clerk (Rooney Mara) in this adaptation of the 1952 Patricia Highsmith novel The Price of Salt.
Haynes cleaned up at the Emmy's with his 2011 mini-series Mildred Pierce, and this much anticipated film is his second time working with Blanchett since I'm Not There, for which she received an Oscar nomination in 2007. We're anticipating a masterpiece.
