OnBlackheath Festival 2017

Close the festival season in London at this celebration of music, arts and food with Travis and The Libertines headlining

OnBlackheath Festival 2017
Festival season isn't over just yet: OnBlackheath brings two days of live music, food trucks, and revelry to south east London.

Glaswegian foursome Travis headline on Saturday, taking fans back to 1999 with hit songs 'Driftwood', 'Turn' and 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me?'. Sunday celebrates the golden age of noughties indie rock, with a reunion performance by The Libertines, led by shaggy-haired, skinny jean-wearing bad boys Carl Barat and Pete Doherty. Other highlights include Jake Bugg, KT Tunstall, and south east London’s own Kate Tempest.

The festival's Food Village is curated by Masterchef finalist, Tony Rodd and guest chefs including Masterchef's 2016 winner Jane Devonshire, and Michael Bremner – the head chef of the best restaurant in Brighton, 64 Degrees. It will feature a mouth-watering selection of street food stalls, a demo stage, cookery classes, and a bar from the local Meantime Brewery Company.

The Family Playground caters to little festival-goers with face-painting, crafts, and a Village Green Sports Day. Former Children’s Laureate Michael Rosen will also be joining the fun, as will Julian Clary, who will be reading from his series of children’s books The Bolds.

Day tickets start at £49.50, and weekend tickets at £90, with VIP options.

Although weekend tickets can be purchased, it is worth noting that guests cannot camp at this festival.
