Prepare for the Temperley sample sale next week at Temperley's London store. Pieces from a range of past collections will be selling for a discounted rate at the gorgeous Bruton Street premises in Mayfair.
How we love British designer Alice Temperley. Her dreamy designs whisk us away to our happy place, where lace, embroidery and applique cohabit dramatically on whimsical dresses and beautiful blouses. Her evening wear and bridal wear is the stuff that dreams our made of, but we've also spotted some beautiful pieces that we'd wear anytime – after all, some things are too good to save for best.
Entry is £2, prices start from just £50 and there will be a range of sizes available.
Alice Temperley SS18
Alice Temperley has drawn on historical oddities for the Spring/Summer 2018 collection, such as the weird wonders of alchemy and love potions, botanical drawings and valentine frakturs (folk art designs from early Pennsylvanian settlers). These motifs come sprinkled over rich fabrics and create a magical collection.
There's no guarantee you'll find the SS18 collection at the sample sale, but keep an eye out. At any rate, you'll be able to browse previous collections, crafted with the same care. With spring just around the corner, look out for fashionable pastel pieces – as seen on the Céline catwalk – though be sure to arrive early, before all the good stuff goes.
