Sophia Webster sample sale, The Music Room

Sophia Webster’s shoes wouldn’t look out of place in a Katy Perry video: neon-bright candy-coloured shoes inspired by the likes of mermaids and Beetlejuice, and decorated with ruffles, stripes, beads and bows.

Since the London-based shoe designer made her debut in 2013, the adventurous, hyper-girly and witty shoes and accessories – including iconic speech-bubble handbags – have stormed the fashion industry and won Webster a number of accolades, such as the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund in March. We welcomed the opening of her brand new store in Mount Street.

A Sophia Webster Music Room sample sale is likely to draw large crowds from those used to seeing Webster accessories in the likes of Dover Street Market, Harvey Nichols, Browns and net-a-porter. And, of course, those who recognise Webster's fantastical creations from the feet of celebrities, from Jennifer Lawrence to celebrity style icon Kendall Jenner.

To prevent the over-crowding of glamorous fashionistas, the Music Room is asking shoppers to book themselves into a time slot. From 4pm – 7:30pm everyone will be welcome (assuming there's still stock available), but don't try to turn up before 4pm if you haven't booked.
