Liberty, one of London's best-loved department stores, has a sample sale over four days this spring, with prices at up to 70 per cent off.
The event will be held in east London, at The Box on Hackney Walk, opposite Burberry – far from the hallowed timbers of the iconic central London store. The Box is a new retail space for pop-up sales, with more than 3,000 square feet to play with. This is a good thing: with clothes for men, women and children, as well as homeware, stationery and sleepwear, that huge space will be essential.
Expect to see Liberty London's own fabrics and its iconic lawn cotton prints adorning everything from men's shirts to eye masks. Perfect for stocking up on little gifts, or adding a spring addition to your wardrobe.
The £1 entry fee goes to a very local charity. Stitch Academy teaches skills to aspiring seamstresses and dressmakers, and is also based at Hackney Walk.
