You know when a scent brings back a vivid memory? When you breath in and, for a moment, you're transported to a familiar place, or person, or moment from your past? Fragrances are interminably intertwined with people we love and the experiences that shaped us.
This October, Harvey Nichols is exploring just how aromas define us as individuals whilst celebrating all fragrance fabulous. The Art of Scent sees the famous Knightsbridge store welcoming a wealth of fragrances, exclusive launches, inshore theatre and bespoke cocktails inspired by a collection of perfumes. Azzi Glasser The Perfumer's Story: an exclusive collaboration with Harvey Nichols
Award winning perfume designer Azzi Glasser is exclusively producing 11 limited edition men's, women's and unisex perfumes for Harvey Nichols. Glasser is known for her collaborations with Topshop, Agent Provocateur and celebrities including Kylie Minogue; and these one-of-a-kind fragrances promise a personal touch from an expert perfume designer, available for a limited time only until 31 December.

Jackson Boxer The Perfumer's Story Bespoke Cocktails
To mark the launch of The Perfumer's Story by Azzi Glasser, restaurateur and chef Jackson Boxer has created six bespoke, limited edition cocktails inspired by the perfumer's first gragrance collection.
The six drinks include a fragrant champagne-based long drink with a scratch of acidity, Tuscan Suede, infused with the eroticism of Glasser's original perfume.Twisted Iris, an Earl Grey based cooler meant to be drunk on a warm summers day and another of our favourites, a Rose Martini cocktail made just for Azzi, Fever 54, is on offer.
Chocolate Afternoon Tea by Paul A. Young
Paul A. Young is Harvey Nichols' innovative chocolatier. He's serving a chocolate afternoon tea inspired by The Art of Scent that combes unusual flavour parings. We're especially looking forward to the Moroccan spiced chocolate pots and the adventurous savoury chocolate ganache and gorgonzola sandwich.
Chocolate Afternoon Tea will run from the 1st-31st October, Monday-Saturday, 3-5:50pm.
Hendrick's & Tonic Vaporizer
Those who prefer something with a kick over afternoon tea can take a turn in the Gin Oscillating Sensory Helmet - a 30 second journey in pursuit of gin perfection. The aroma of Hendrick's gin, tonic and cucumber vapour fill your senses, as part of the most deliciously intoxicating scientific experiment around.
From the 9th - 11th October.
