Delvaux, The world's oldest luxury leather company, launches an exciting SS15 collection

Introducing luxury leather goods house Delvaux's delightful new SS15 collection, inspired by rural Normandy and Édouard Manet's 'Luncheon on the Grass'

Madame Mini Polo & Galuchat Nude

Delvaux, the oldest leather luxury goods house in the world, has once again pulled off a remarkably modern and fresh aesthetic with its brand new Spring-Summer 2015 collection.

Inspired by rural Normandy and Édouard Manet's 'Luncheon on the Grass', the range offers a beautiful palette of smooth leathers, from soothing pastels to vibrant yellows. The emphasis is, as ever, on ease and flexibility while maintaining a refined and timeless style; testament to the leather house's mastery of a diverse range of production techniques, including an exclusive Delvaux trademark technique using iconic Toile de Cuir leather which was developed in Belgium in the early '60s.

Managing to give a truly contemporary look to its beloved icons, such as the ever-adapting Brillant to the new Tempête Clutch, the collection is both elegant and edgy, reinterpreting older pieces with bright pink lining, for example, to bring the painter's brush to mind. The Box leather is printed, using the same technique employed to embellish silk scarves and Mimosa, Sunset and Flamingo are the colours of the season, with textures and irregular weaves that are truly something to behold.
