Pharrell Williams' Chanel Collection launch is set to be big in 2019
Everyone's favourite smooth-talking musician, Pharrell Williams, is designing a capsule collection for Chanel
Pharrell Williams has had plenty of limelight in the press this week, having sent Trump a now widely circulated cease and desist regarding his use of 'Happy' at a rally. Now, news has broken that the musician is to design a capsule collection for Chanel.
Williams is no stranger to the Fashion House, having walked the runway for Chanel's 2017 Metier d'Arts show, appeared in campaigns, collaborating on trainer design, and enjoying a close and fruitful kinship with Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld.
And this ain't his first rodeo when it comes to fashion design, either. He owns his own brand, Billionaire Boys Club, and has collaborated with other major houses like Louis Vuitton, Comme des Garçons, Bape, Nike (the list goes on).
The collection will include both ready-to-wear and accessories, and will debut exclusively in the brand new Seoul flagship on March 29, followed by select Chanel boutiques around the world from April 4.
