Spring Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair
An ornamental menagerie brings beautiful beasts to the spring decorative antiques & textiles fair
20th century classics, decorative antiques and unusual period design objects are descending upon Battersea Park courtesy of the 150 exhibitors arriving in London for the Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair.
Boasting beautiful curiosities ranging from the contemporary to the most ancient, the spring Fair is the best of the three Decorative Fairs held each year in which to find garden-related decoration made in a variety of materials – including metal, wood or stone. Alongside the planters, urns, troughs, benches, outdoor tables and other outdoor objects, visitors will find sculptures, paintings, prints and photography from across eras and genres.
Foyer inspiration for visitors in April 2018 is An Ornamental Menagerie, designed to highlight the works of art featuring creatures great and small, which herald from both our green and pleasant land and exotic, far-flung places. Expect to find furniture and art decorated with domesticated beasts, or classical carvings such as lions' paws, all inspired by the animal kingdom.
Join the exhibitors in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with curious, heart-melting and unusual objects waiting around each corner. Fill your home with everything from period shop signs to fossils and curious taxidermy, and feast on food from The Kitchen, a brasserie and bar that is available all day.
On-site packing and shipping makes life easy for international and UK buyers, and well behaved dogs (on leads) are welcome to join you in sniffing around for treasures.
