Our favourite Scandinavian design spot in London, Skandium, has a host of exciting events during London Design Festival that will make you feel giddy with excitement. From meet and greets with star designers to brand new collections, we recommend making Skandium your first stop on the London Design Festival trail this September. 
Raf Simons x Kvadrat, Selfridges
We are particularly excited about the launch of a Raf Simons collection by sumptuous textile house Kvadrat at the Skandium, Selfridges concession. Fashion designer and Creative Director of Dior, Simons has created some spectacular cushions and throws that we can't wait to get our hands on. So if you love that Dior signature look, the sleek lines of this new collection is for you. There'll even be a special panel discussion on 23rd September titled 'When Fashion Meets Home' between Skandium's Head of Buying Lucio Longoni with key design writers. 
Flensted Mobiles, Marylebone
Over at the Marylebone outlet of Skandium you'll find playful mobiles by Flensted, which were first created by Christian Flensted to celebrate the christening of his daughter. Now, Flensted mobiles are hot property for any design savvy parent. And for real fans, there's even a chance to meet the Flensted family on Wednesday 23rd September and hear more about the traditional brand.
Jonas Lindvall, Brompton Road
Meanwhile in west London, visitors to the Brompton Road Skandium branch have the chance to meet Swedish architect and designer Jonas Lindvall, the force behind countless villas, hotels, restaurants and interiors both in Sweden and around the world. A stickler for detail, Lindvall even has his own signature suits tailor made with specially sourced vintage bolts of tweed. For inspiration from one of the design world's most influential tastemakers, we can't recommend this event enough. 
And while you're soaking up Lindvall's wisdom, take a peak at the new window display by star Finnish illustrator Klaus Haapaniemi. Based on Slavic and Japanese folklore, Haapaniemi fills mystical forest's with dancing vixens and foxes on Heikki Orvola's tableware for littala.
