Grace & Thorn
Looking for florists in East London? Grace & Thorn flowers and plants with their wild, rustic arrangements should be your first stop
For east London dwellers there's no where else quite like the Grace & Thorn florist on Hackney Road. This super trendy flower shop combines bright colours with quirky bunches in a blend of country blooms and urban city design. Expect the unexpected from these unique bouquets.
Founder of Grace and Thorn, Nik Southern, only set up shop in east London in September 2014, but she's already made a name for herself with her bespoke brand that combines rustic greenery, naturalistic flower design and a promise that "no two bouquets are ever the same".
Her glamourous arrangements are beautifully understated and you can send plants as well as bouquets to your chosen recipient. With individual curations and perfectly chosen pots, succulents have never been more stunning.
Most recently the east London florist sparked a campaign, encouraging all of us to 'green up your gaff' with soothing Boston ferns, peace lilies and aloe vera plants to ease urban living and those pesky January blues.
If you would like to fill your house with a bit of green, why not go to ‘terrarium Tuesday’ on the first Tuesday of each month and learn how to put together a little garden in a glass vessel.
Her curious interest in the benefits of botany certainly brightened our winter evenings.
