Dazzle Contemporary Jewellery Selling Exhibition, Oxo Tower

Dazzle by name, Dazzle by nature: this contemporary jewellery selling exhibition hosted in the lavish Oxo tower boasts over 90 designers from 20 different countries and 4,000 unique, handmade pieces. Connoisseurs of jewellery design events London will be delighted to find 2013 UK Jewellery Designer of the Year Sophie Harley, whose pieces you’ll recognise from Bond films Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, amongst the exhibitors. These incredible pieces are normally found adorning the outfits of celebrities like Kate Winslet, Dame Judi Dench and Naomi Campbell. Other stars of jewellery design included are Mark Nuell, a magician with semi and precious stones, and the anodised aluminium works of Jane Adam.

There is also a fantastic array of emerging designers, where you’ll be able to find innovative creations in titanium, animal horn and wool, as well as a playful reinvention of pre-worn leather with precious metals. Look out for other young designers who were top-sellers last year such as Chris Boland’s striking large gemstones and Cristina Zanl’s combination of the old and new. Our particular favourite designer is the new Dazzler, Emma Calvert, whose sculptural forms are created from weaving together precious metals with textiles to create dramatic and unique results.
