Pick Me Up design festival returns to Somerset House with an exciting lineup of new and established artists showing off the best in illustration and graphic design. During the 12 days of the festival, interactive workspaces will pop up introducing you to their techniques, which range from risograph printing to paper craft. Visitors can purchase limited edition prints and artworks at affordable prices starting at £5.

Make sure you check out Pick me Up Selects; a showcase of the best international young designers have been selected by an expert panel. There will also be a community of collectives, galleries and studios at the festival hawking their wares. Look out for ceramics from the Hackney-based Clay Collective, as well as Sope Stidop 's posters and screenprinters 3rd Rail.

An exhibition of Alan Kitching's work will be at the heart of the show. The legendary British typographer and his nostalgic, instantly recognisable typesettings have been mainstays of British design for six decades. Over 100 of Kitching's prints will feature, many of which will be for sale, alongside sketchbooks, proofs, artefacts and equipment from his studio.

There's a great many talks, discussions and workshops, too - including one by Kitching himself. Click here for the full list.

A treat for the explorer, there is a tremendous variety of original art works, prints and accessories for sale throughout this London graphic arts festival.
