Finnish design studio Nikari not only create environmentally-friendly products using wood from Northern European forests which accord with the principles of sustainability and biodiversity but they also work to reduce emissions with their deliveries by using more efficient transport journeys. H&M are battling their bad rap as purveyors of fast fashion through a number of sustainability pledges. Their Conscious homewares range is a great place to shop responsibly-made products that don’t break the bank. All products contain at least 50 percent sustainable materials such as organic cotton and recycled polyester, and the brand has pledged that it will only use 100 percent recycled or sustainably sourced materials in all their collections by 2030. This year, they even picked up PETA's seal of approval by winning a Vegan Homeware Awards for its Conscious Patterned Cotton Rug, available to buy online now.
