Dance at LIFT 2018 Festival
Dance carves a niche for itself in LIFT 2018 with four very diverse shows in a range of London venues
These Rooms revisits a key episode of Irish history, the 1916 Easter Uprising. A collaboration between the Irish performance companies ANU and Coisceim Dance Theatre, it’s an immersive, site-specific blend of dance, theatre and visual arts, which will take over the entire basement of Shoreditch Town Hall. It had rave reviews when it premiered in Dublin two years ago, with the Telegraph describing it as ‘subtle’ but ‘hugely stirring.’
