Javier Camarena at Wigmore Hall
Mexican tenor Javier Camarena, who brought the house down in New York, gives a rare London recital
Be the first to catch a rising star on the verge of mega-stardom. When the Mexican tenor Javier Camarena stepped in to sing in La Cenerentola at short notice at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York in 2014 he brought the house down, becoming one of only three tenors in the history of the house to have sung an encore to satisfy an ecstatic audience. His Wigmore Hall recital includes arias from Donizetti, Bizet and Rossini. Talent spotters and casting directors worldwide are very excited by this exceptional voice, and audiences in the know are catching on fast too.
