There could be no more memorable a way to celebrate Christmas than with a traditional service at Westminster Abbey. Dating back to the tenth century, this exquisite Gothic church in the heart of London has served as the site of royal coronations and burials for hundreds of years, and is steeped in a rich cultural heritage. This beautiful historic setting makes the perfect backdrop for an atmospheric celebration of the festive season.

Celebrate Christmas Day with a 10am Sung Eucharist service, once again ministered by the Dean, and this time featuring Joseph Haydn's Missa Sancti Nicolai , a jubilant mass composed by the Austrian master in 1772.

Although all are welcome to attend these events, in order to ensure that the church does not exceed capacity, free tickets must be booked online in advance. Every year these services are extremely popular, so it is essential to book early!
