The Argentinian pianist Martha Argerich represents some of the most exciting music-making on the international scene today. And how else would she celebrate her 75th birthday than with her countryman and fellow pianist Alberto Portugheis, also marking his 75th birthday, and in the company of an admiring audience? With music by Ravel and Saint-Saëns, the pair perform the great Sonata in D for two piano by Mozart, and Rachmaninov's spectacular Six Duets for four hands. It will be quite a party.
