The London Piano Festival celebrates its fifth year at Kings Place as it began – with the piano centre stage and a live audience. Of course numbers are limited, so that the 100 ticket-holders can be safely spaced. But music-lovers can also enjoy events streamed.

While the eight concerts and talks planned have had to be postponed, a grand Saturday night Gala is open to a live audience (Sat 10 Oct, 6PM). A packed programme of piano music is followed by a reception with food and wine. Then music-lovers can let their hair down with Bill Laurence's jazz set. Click here for tickets.

With this audience event, this year's London Piano Festival takes another step forward towards shared music events in London. And we are sure to be able to look forward to the pianos and pianists working overtime next October....
