The historic Temple Church in the heart of the Inns of Court has been home to musical landmarks throughout its centuries-long history, and here comes another eye-catching event. Its associate organist Greg Morris is going to perform every piece JS Bach wrote for the organ, at 28 concerts in churches all over London. All but one of the concerts are free.

Starting and ending at Morris's own Temple Church, and showcasing the dozens of pieces in roughly chronological order, the series hops all over London and particularly suits those working or relaxing in the heart of the city, being largely at lunchtime or early evening. So sit back, drink in all that amazing architecture, and be buoyed up by Bach's endlessly positive and inventive musical colours on this most virtuosic of instruments.

Once on the road, Greg plays at St Martin-in-the Fields, the Swiss Church, Endell Street, St Matthew’s, Westminster, Marylebone Parish Church, Handel's church – St George’s Hanover Square and many more. Each concert lasts around an hour.

Look out in particular for the St Paul's Cathedral concert (4:45PM, 6 May) when the works include the imposing Toccata and virtuosic Fugue in D minor BWV 565. The final concert (5 July), for which there is an admission, is at home base, Temple Church.
