Charity Concert for the Serge Betsen Academy, French Institute

Rugby player Serge Betsen hosts a charity concert at the French Institute

Concert helping the Zoestele Centre, Cameroon
The French Institute presents a charity concert of classical music by talented young performers.

Former French XV Captain Serge Betsen, who also played for London Wasps until 2011, will be representing his charity at the event.

Founded in 2004, the Serge Betsen academy is a sports charity that’s close to its founder’s heart. The programme introduces rugby to children in Cameroon. It uses the sport to access communities and provide healthcare and education to their young people.

At the lunchtime concert, expect a bill of classical favourites, including Rachmaninov, Mozart and, of course, Debussy. Pieces will be sung and performed on piano and violin.

Come and support these children and their parents in South Kensington with a slice of Saturday lunchtime culture, and all for an excellent cause.
