Live at the Palace, Fulham Palace

Picture this: popcorn at the palace for a unique film-in-concert experience

Live at the Palace, Fulham Palace
Some things only happen in movies. But watching a film in the grounds of Fulham Palace, while a live orchestra plays, isn’t one of them. And did we mention the picnic?

Live at the Palace
is an immersive cinema experience unlike any other. Over the May bank holiday, iconic films are being screened accompanied by a full orchestra and choir. Films-in-concert are becoming increasingly trendy but the really unique feature of this event is its historic setting, among thirteen acres of botanical gardens on the banks of the Thames.

The films on show are defined by their soundtracks: the Jaws theme creates a sense of dread more than any shark’s teeth could. And where would The Godfather be without its seductive violins? During the screening of La La Land the orchestra will be conducted by the Oscar-winning composer of the film’s original score. Whilst Titanic will surely leave everyone with a tear in their eye.

We can’t forget to mention the food. Cinema-goers are able to purchase hampers full of artisan goodies selected for the event. Just the thought of the speciality bagels from Brick Lane Bakery is making our mouths water.

There are a variety of tickets on offer from sitting on the grass, in true picnic style, to a fully blown VIP package which includes drinks and luxury munch.
