In June 2015, London’s most mysterious immersive cinema company unveiled their latest scheme: Secret Cinema X. It’s fair to say the evening didn’t exactly go according to plan, with proceedings sadly marred by some technical difficulties. Nonetheless, the idea was a good one; tied into Asif Kapadia’s Oscar-winning documentary Amy, it saw KOKO transformed into a ‘60s jazz club, and featured performances from the late singer’s band.
On March 16, Secret Cinema X returns, and while the film that audiences will watch and become part of is currently under wraps, we are promised a ‘breathless night time journey,’ and an event ‘soundtracked by London’s foremost underground DJs.’ As ever, the location is also top secret, but for any dance music-lovers, this is certainly one for you.
