The Luna Cinema, Natural History Museum

Whilst outdoor cinema season is not quite yet upon us (although 18-degree highs suggests that it’s just around the corner), there's already a string of experiential film events to get excited for this spring.

The Luna Cinema have earned their reputation as leaders of immersive cinema, thanks to their talent for picking unique settings which offer innovative backdrops for a stellar selection of films. Past events have included Top Gun at the RAF Museum and The Shape of Water at Brockwell Lido, as well as a number of romantic garden screenings in Kensington Palace and Hampton Court.

Luna is back with a powerful March programme, packed with film favourites for audiences of all ages, this time, at the Natural History Museum. Get comfortable in the museum’s historic Hintze Hall and watch wild adventures such as The Jungle Book (10 March), Night at the Museum (12 March) and Jurassic Park (12 March), as well as more recent blockbusters such as Bohemian Rhapsody (9 March) and A Star Is Born (11 March) under a suspended skeleton of a blue whale.

And if that weren't enough entertainment, a ticket also includes access to the museum’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition which will be open about an hour before screenings. This is a series you certainly won’t mind staying indoors for, irrespective of the (hopefully imminent) arrival of warmer weather.
