garnered Emma Thompson her first Academy Award, hits the silver screen again
with a new restoration at BFI Southbank. Culture Whisper members are invited to claim one of our ten pairs of tickets for the screening on Wednesday 9 August.
E.M. Forster’s timeless tale of Edwardian intrigue and emotion will be screened at the Institute for a limited time. The restoration celebrates the masterful direction of James Ivory, the film’s lavish sets, and its opulent costumes. A star-studded cast, including Helena Bonham-Carter and Vanessa Redgrave, bring to life the story of Margaret and Helen Schlegel, two sisters who find fame and ruin among the Edwardian elite.
