Edible Cinema: Our Little Sister
This April, Edible Cinema presents a screening of Our Little Sister, a Palme d'Or nominee.
Munching on popcorn at the movies is a time-honoured tradition, but Edible Cinema steps snacking up a notch with a bespoke culinary experience designed to compliment films through texture and taste. This April, Edible Cinema presents a screening of Palme D'Or nominee Our Little Sister.
Based on an award-winning manga series, Our Little Sister is a family drama tracing the developing relationship between three sisters and their shy younger half-sister after the death of their father brings them together. The believable characters present a sparking story about a journey of self-discovery.
Edible Cinema presents the chance to enjoy the beautiful film while feasting on an inventive, delicate menu, laced with the flavours of Japan. Each menu consists of 8 canapé sized servings from Blanch & Shock (the quirky culinary team responsible for last year's David Lynch supperclub The Owls Are Not What They Seem). The meal will also come with a Kirin beer if the alcoholic option is selected.
Find yourself completely immersed in the universe of Our Little Sister as visual, auditory and culinary elements come together to create a unique experience.
Tickets go on sale at 1pm on Thursday 7th April
If you miss this screening or would prefer to see a classic, Edible Cinema will be showing Some Like it Hot in May.
