Super-easy to use, hydrating and gives a good glow. Perfect when you travel and want a three-in-one day cream that protects and refines at the same time.

Summer saviour: Baume Essentiel: Chanel Multi-Use Glow Stick in Transparent, £35
This is Chanel make-up artist Zoe Taylor's beauty secret, and I am addicted. It's fabulous at creating a glimmering effect and great to use on slightly tanned skin.

SPF hero: Heliocare 360 Fluid Cream SPF50, £26.99
A super-light liquid that melts into the skin quickly and doesn't leave any white residue while being an excellent base for make-up too. I also carry a mist SPF, something like Pixi's Sun Mist SPF30, for ray-protection top-ups while on the go.

Summer saviour: Dieux Skin Forever Eye Masks, £22
These are easy to throw into your case to help wake up the whole eye area when used with your favourite serum or cream. They are also re-useable, so it cuts down on single-use plastic waste. There's no puffiness or red-eye in sight – especially when teamed with some whitening or brightening drops – a wake-up call for your whole eye area.

SPF buy: Institut Esthederm Adaptasun, from £29.40
For the body, I love the Institut Esthederm Adaptasun range. This comes in Moderate or High protection (the equivalent of SPF30 and SPF50) and is designed to help your body protect itself. They're excellent quality sunscreens developed by a solid dermatological brand.

Summer saviour: Heliocare 360 capsules, £31.99
I take these for two weeks before travelling and the duration of my holiday. They help build up your internal cellular protection and reduce the risk of developing prickly heat and sunburn.

SPF buy: QMS Medicosmetics Active Glow SPF15 Tinted Day Cream, £78
It has a sheer colour-adapting tone (more like a skin veil – like your skin but more radiant). It's excellent day-to-day when you want glow, hydration and sun protection in one hit.

Summer saviour: Skin In Motion by Gia Mills
A make-up artist friend, Gia Mills, has a clever capsule range of make-up, Skin In Motion, designed especially for gym bunnies; however, it also really stands its ground on a hot or humid day. It's breathable, smudge-proof and lightweight. I particularly like the mascara, which, although not waterproof, clings to lashes and doesn't end up down your face.

SPF buy: I love Grown Alchemist Natural Hydrating Sunscreen, £31
This is lightweight and has a natural mineral base; it's also easy to blend in, non-greasy and feels hydrating.

Summer saviour: Tropics Vitamin Toner Pore Refining Mist, £14
My skin can often flare up in hotter weather as I am Pitta dosha (doshas are the Ayurvedic body types, and Pitta dosha is associated with fire), so when you have too much heat, it can cause skin issues and breakouts. I love Tropics Vitamin Toner Pore Refining Mist as it has cooling ingredients to balance out the heat, like aloe vera and cucumber, and it's hydrating and refreshing.

SPF buy: Dr Rakus's SPF, £54
This is phenomenal. The texture is light, and it leaves no white residue while providing robust protection. It's won many awards, and no wonder it's Melissa Odabash's favourite.

SPF buy: Heliocare Gel Cream Colour 50 SPF, £26.99
I hate wearing foundation daily as it can make me break out, so my go-to is a tinted SPF to ensure that my skin is glowing and protected from breakouts. It's almost like a light foundation that covers blemishes.
