Bespoke fragrance creation is coming to Selfridges with the Experimental Perfume Club pop-up, Layers Labs
The new Experimental Perfume Club Blending Lab in Selfridges uses a hi-tech algorithm that allows you to create a bespoke perfume profile unique to you
The new Layers Lab by London’s bespoke perfumers, the Experimental Perfume Club, is launching in Selfridges – so you can create your own signature scent in central London.
The new luxe and eco-aware pop-up employs a techie algorithm along with scent supervisors, aka the fragrance curators, to help you to create a fragrance profile and easily navigate your way to finding and designing your very own personalised spritz.
The curators narrow down the options from multiple combinations, out of a possible 50,000 formulas, to find one individual to you. You initially compose three scents then zero in on the one.
Top it off with personalised bottle engraving and packaging, and you’ve pretty much gone to fragrance heaven.
Not only does Experimental Perfume Club offer bespoke fragrances consultations in the central London store, but it also stocks its very own well-blended concoctions that you can also layer, spritz and then refill courtesy of their forward-thinking refill stations, meaning you also have a clear conscience when it comes to scent and sustainability.
This must be the perfect antidote to avoid smelling like everyone else on the London Underground.
The Experimental Perfume Club Layers Lab in Selfridges will be open from 4 November 2019. A bespoke fragrance journey costs from £105.
