Aesop 'In Two Minds' is specifically for combination skin
After three years of research, the new range will actively tackle combination complexions
Relentless oil-production on your t-zone but dry skin on your cheeks – combination skin is tricky, frustrating and hugely common. If you are prone to combination skin you may have experimented with intricate, multi-step skincare regimes to harness it under control, but often hydrating creams prove treacherous, and balancing creams and masks leave much to be desired. A combination complexion, generally, is a Pandora's Box of skincare trouble: triggered by the weather, causing enlarged pores and flakiness, and wreaking havoc on makeup application.
After 3 years of research, Aesop is launching 'In Two Minds', a skincare range which promises to tackle combination skin. Aesop's innovation and research manager Dr Rebecca Watkinson said that, 'Over the past decade, we have observed an increasing prevalence of combination skin among our customers, particularly in warmer climates, and they were finding it increasingly difficult to manage this challenging and often reactive skin type.'
The line consists of a moisturiser, cleanser and toner, all of which are developed from botanical, calming ingredients and formulas. Use of the three products together tackles the varied nature of your skin rather than targeting single aspects – hydrating dry patches and controlling oil-production simultaneously.
Naturally, Aesop hasn't compromised on aesthetics: the products are housed in Aesop's classic minimalist brown and beige vessels, and the new launch comes with an arty campaign visual. The new products will be avaiable to purchase in store and online from the 3rd April.
