Home to the Prime Meridian of the world since 1884, today it also offers visitors the chance to stroll through its stately rooms and explore the historical artefacts that guided some of the earliest British timekeepers.
With views across central London, the walk through Greenwich Park up to the brow of the hill upon which the site sits is all part of the experience, too.
