Now in its 45th year, the show has all the attractions of a traditional country fair plus much more.
Horticultural displays, home-grown vegetable and flower competitions, and the show's very own on-site farm are only half of what’s on offer. Grab a bite at one of the numerous food stands (we recommend Mama's Jerk) and browse the various arts and crafts stalls, then head over to the main stage for a truly global music experience.
The stand-out event of the weekend promises to be the Dog and Sheep Show, where sheep dogs show off their herding skills. The Adrenaline Tour is the act to catch if you want to see some daredevil motorcycle stunts. A team from Dulwich Picture Gallery are also on site, offering postcard-making workshops themed around the gallery's summer Colour Palace. A true family festival, there's plenty for little ones too, from face-painting to animal-petting, bouncy castles to fairground rides.
Music wise, expect a mix of afrobeat, ska, and soul to get you grooving. As well as performances from Lambeth School Choirs and Brixton Dance School. Headline acts include DJ Richie Vegas on the Saturday, followed by General Levy and a line-up of special guests on the Sunday.
