'This is another great raw food place, they make the most amazing raw tacos – it’s worth visiting just for those! They also do an incredible healthy breakfast and my favourite medicinal mushroom lattes, which sound weird, but taste amazing.'
Raw food café London
Since Tanya’s cafe opened in Chelsea in 2014, raw food converts looking to keep their bodies healthy without compromising on delicious flavour have had it earmarked as one of the best raw food cafés in London.
Tanya’s began life as collaboration between food blogger Tanya and wellbeing warriors, the myhotel group. It is a favourite for those looking for plant-based, handpicked, organic raw foods that are ethically sourced and free from refined sugar or gluten, and a calm spot for a sit down or a detox – with a hipster vibe.
Raw food recipes
Raw living recipes can be tricky, as well as time intensive to make at home – Tanya’s offers a comprehensive menu spanning all three of your daily meals, that will save veggies from decades of routine peeling and chopping.
For breakfast, foodies can choose from deliciously thick chai porridge with dates, algarroba, and cinnamon, almond milk with banana, or avo un-toast – which is soft onion bread with squashed avocado and pepper flakes. For dinner, guests are invited tuck into the likes of a comforting rosemary flavoured nut roast with mushroom Stroganoff and inside-out pumpkin dumplings. Bodies and taste-buds are equally happy here.
