Three up and coming British artists have collaborated with Heal’s UK to create the new 1810 collection for Spring/Summer 2015. Royal College of Art, London graduates Claire de Quénetain, and creative pair Danny Augustine & Adam Bridgland are the brains behind the summer gardens inspired collection of fresh, colourful and painterly designs. This bold and individual collection reflects the personal style of each artist and the best of British design.
Textile designer Claire de Quénetain has brought her brand of expressive mark making to Le Jardin D’ete, where floral patterns and her love of the outdoors abound. These hand-drawn designs are then digitally printed onto fabrics to create this vibrant collection of cushions, kitchen, textiles, trays and tableware.
Over to printmakers Danny Augustine & Adam Bridgland, the design duo has created large mono prints with hand-painted floral forms inspired by love and lust. Painted directly onto the screen print mesh before printing, there is only one original for each design.
We can’t wait to get our hands on this exclusive selection of cushions in the new Heal’s collection, the only question is will we go with lust or love?
