Night Tales returns once more to entertain the Christmas masses, this time in a 10,000 square foot Shoreditch car park. For seven weeks they’ll be touting new cocktail bars, music from house to funk, disco to techno and all presented with some of London’s best food vans.
DJ partnership Django Django will be performing for the opening night on Friday 7th November with other names such as Bill Brewster, the Black Butter Records crew and New Yorker Justin Strauss lined up to play. In addition special guests will be announced as the weeks go on. Keeping everyone in high spirits, experimental cocktails will be served throughout the night from bars such as ‘Tales of Whiskey’ – a new venue serving mixes including Liqurice Bourbon Old-Fashioned, Black Cherry and Chocolate Sour and a Scotch, Rosemary And Truffle Sour. Alternatively The Hot Hut Cocktail bar will whisk you up a Night Espresso Martini, a Five Spiced Mulled Negroni or an Almond White Russian.
Confirmed food vans will include the illustrious Patty and Bun, whose gourmet burgers took London by storm and instigated a wave of similar burger related pop ups. They have announced they will be launching their brand new 1987 Gumman Olson Kurbmaster van, discovered on their travels in California. Other vans include Yum Bun and Dalston’s Pizza joint Voodoo Rays. And if you’ve ever found it near impossible to find a table at Soho’s Pitt Cue then you can come and enjoy their menu, along with the equally popular Caribbean inspired Rum Kitchen. With food, cocktails and music, Night Tales will undoubtedly be as much of a hit as it was last year.
