Red magazine have had the genius brainwave to join forces with the fashion label Anthropologie for a one off event on 16th November at Anthropologie’s Regent’s Street outlet where art, design and fashion all collide – and there’s a 15% discount in store, what more could we want?
The work of artists in residence at Red magazine UK, embroiderer Laura Lees and illustrator Nina Fuga, will form the central focus of the evening, from quirky furniture designs to intricate drawings. In response to her time spent in the Red office, Laura has made a unique series of wonderful upholstered pieces including a chair from what look like stacks of Red magazines, and a day bed also made out of layers of publications as well as personal artefacts that Laura came across on people’s desks. In contrast Nina has created a series of pencil drawings of the buzzing Red office with all its rigorous contributors and fabulous cover stars. Catch their work in Red’s November ‘Art’ Issue.
